Cowee is one of Macon counties most prestige communities. Cowee is just north of Franklin and is located by travelling highway 28 north. It is truly the heart of the Cowee community. Continue on to Snow Hill road and you will find the historic Snow Hill Inn which is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast where many come to have a weekend getaway or attend a wedding.
